Deep sulcus sign


Deep sulcus sign, sometimes referred to as lateral femoral notch sign, describes an exaggerated depression of condylopatellar sulcus that results from impaction of lateral femoral condyle into the posterior aspect of the lateral tibial plateau. This pattern is usually seen in the setting of anterior cruciate ligament injury.
