Diagnosis:

Sacroiliatis

Findings:

Coronal and axial fluid sensitive images demonstrate sacroiliac joints effusion and presacral abscess extending inferiorly. Only minimal periarticlar bone marrow edema is present. There is diffuse soft tissue edema around the sacroiliac joint.

Diff Dx:

In addition to infection, other causes of sacroiliac joint effusions include trauma and inflammatory arthritis.
